LoCITY is a structured collaborative programme that brings together the full range of stakeholders needed to stimulate the uptake of low emission commercial vehicles.

It is designed to improve air quality help to increase the supply of low emission vehicles and associated infrastructure, making it easier for operators to invest in cleaner vehicles. Through LoCITY we are supporting and preparing the freight and fleet industry to be ready for the Ultra Low Emission Zone.

FORS - Fleet Operators Recognition Scheme

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme that aims to improve fleet activity throughout the UK and beyond.

FORS encompasses all aspects of safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions and improved operations. FORS helps fleet operators to measure and monitor performance and adopt best practice. It is open to any company operating a fleet including vans, lorries, mini-buses and coaches and to the organisations that award contracts to those operators.

The Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership

The LowCVP, established in 2003, is a public-private partnership that exists to accelerate a sustainable shift to lower carbon vehicles and fuels and create opportunities for UK business.

Nearly 200 organisations are engaged from diverse backgrounds.
