IVECO, part of CNH Industrial, was named Large Goods Vehicle Manufacturer of the Year at the GreenFleet Awards 2018 for the third year running. The company holds a unique position as the only commercial vehicle manufacturer offering a full range of sustainable options from 3.5 tonnes to 44 tonnes that already meet the strict requirements of the UK’s expanding Low Emission Zones.
In the light commercial market, customers can choose between the New Daily Hi-Matic Natural Power – a CNG-powered LCV with an eight-speed automatic gearbox – and the zero-tailpipe emission Daily Electric, with a range of up to 200km in real urban driving conditions.
IVECO’s Eurocargo medium truck line-up includes Natural Power models from 8 to 16 tonnes with a maximum range of 400km.
For heavy truck operators, the Stralis NP’s impressive credentials earned it the title of Sustainable Truck of the Year 2019 at the Ecomondo Awards – which brings together all sectors of the circular economy – thanks to its ability to reduce particulate matter (PM) emissions by 99%, NOx by 60% and CO2 emissions by up to 95% with the use of biomethane. Stralis NP is also around 50% quieter than a diesel equivalent and is available with a powerful 460hp engine in both 4x2 and 6x2 versions.
With interest growing in alternative fuel options, IVECO is best placed to meet the needs of Britain’s commercial vehicle operators.
